Personal Tours:
We see a lot of folks bring their family to our orchard to spend a few hours of family time. Please feel free to enjoy our orchard as much as we do - a self-guided FREE walking tour.

Educational Tours:
Dear Teacher:
As you plan your activities for the school year, we hope you will consider Costanza’s family run Apple Orchard as your destination. Apples, so familiar to every child, are full of potential for discovery and study by curious students of all ages! Our emphasis is an integrated approach to the exploration of apples and life in the orchard.
We want your field trip to fit well with your overall interdisciplinary curriculum and a trip to our family farm offers educational information in the academic subjects of Math and Life/Biological Sciences with an agricultural content touching on Food/Nutrition, Horticultural Crops, Fruits, Gardening, American Agricultural History, and Plant Growth and Development among others.
Our apple orchard tours are targeted for pre-school through 3rd grade students. We offer the following package with an age appropriate explanation of our farming techniques:
· Orchard Adventure: A guided adventure for all as you trek through our orchard of 1,000 trees
· Participate in our apple grading line and learn how we sort, grade and bag our apples
· View our walk-in cooler where the apples and fresh produce are stored
· Enjoy a demonstration on how children can dry their own apples at home
· Honey House: students will receive a lesson on honey bees and learn how we extract the honey
· Each child (and teachers/chaperones) will be given 2 apples and 2 honey sticks
· Each teacher will be given a bag of apples to take back to the classroom for an apple activity
Tours are offered August thru mid October and takes approximately 1 ½ hours. .
Cost per student $4.00 (teachers & chaperones are our guests).
Thank you for considering Costanza Orchard for your next school trip.
